Innovation cannot be taught through traditional method since theories and practices are tightly interwoven in the development of a sustainable innovation and growth program. As such, it can only be learned through real deep experiences and high impact experiments.
The Innovatrium practices are based on the principle of "See One, Do One, Teach One" (SODOTO), which is very much like the apprenticeship model used in training of medical professionals. "Creativizers," the leaders of innovation practices in their own communities, learn by observing and participating in various innovation initiatives, practice what they learn by working on real projects, and then train other community members; and so the cycle continues. By doing so, highly experienced and master innovators mentor and develop the more novice innovators, creating organizational knowledge and facilitating the growth of sustainable innovation communities everywhere around the world.
