

Pete Bacevice is a PhD candidate ("ABD") in the Center for the Study of Higher
and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan. His primary
research focuses on knowledge transfer between start-up business firms and
universities. His scholarship is rooted in the areas of innovation networks,
knowledge networks, and social capital. Pete holds an MBA from Case
Western Reserve University.
Katherine Lawrence is an independent scholar, collaborating with groups as a
researcher, writer, educator, and facilitator. Dr. Lawrence’s research and
teaching interests include the creativity and innovation, and communities of
practice. She is co-author of Creativity at Work: Developing the Right Practices
to Make Innovation Happen.
Aileen Huang-Saad is a faculty member in the Biomedical Engineering (BME)
Department at the University of Michigan (UM) and Assistant Director of
Academic Programs in the UM College of Engineering Center for
Entrepreneurship. She is responsible for developing the BME department’s
first graduate design course that takes students through the innovation value
chain in the classroom environment.
Don Mroz has extensive experience in change management, organizational
learning, and leadership development. Dr. Mroz has worked with dozens of
multinational firms. He has taught at the University of Michigan and is currently
the Associate Dean at Post University.
Michael Tschirhart has been the Advance Innovation Design Manager for a
Fortune 500 Corporation. He has developed dozens of new products and is
widely sought out for his deep understanding of human factors. Dr. Tschirhart
teaches at the University of Michigan and College for Creative Studies.
Henry Osti has over 25 years of general management consulting and line
management experience with the proven ability to deliver dramatic results. He
has helped companies meet a range of business challenges from startup, to
accelerated growth and turnaround, to merger and acquisitions.
